¶ Overview
The Temple is a early-mid game structure that generates Culture and Happiness. The Temple can be fed mutton in order to increase Culture Output.
You can also feed the Temple from the Warehouse.
You need to have an Altar build in your town to build a Temple.
¶ Modifiers and Effects
This structure gives following buffs when it's been completed;
- Happiness
- Generates +3 happiness.
¶ Hourly Tick
The Temple is a structure which requires a certain item every hour in order to give extra Culture. Below you can see the exact requirement.
In order to feed it, you need to deposit the items inside of the chest near the altar.

Happiness applies on the temple's cultural output rate but not the culture rate from the government.
¶ Special Buffs
Tech Advanced Masonry: All your Tile Improvements starts at Level 2.
Tech Advanced Efficiency: All your Tile Improvements will have an additional XP per hour.
¶ War-Time
It's very important to keep this structure safe during War-Time since if it gets destroyed it will lose 24 XP points and it will not generate any Culture until the Temple is repaired.
¶ Upgrading
You can upgrade your Temples to a higher level. Doing this will allow you to feed your Temples to that level. This means you will get more cultural output from it.
¶ Required Technologies
To level up to the next level, your town requires one of the following technologies; Ritual, Philosophy, Inquisition, Cultural Heritage and Globalization.
