¶ Overview
The Windmill is a unique structure in Empires & Emperors. If you build it adjacent to Farms structures it will automatically plant according to their saved farm design.
You can surround 1 windmill with 8 Farms, but it will farm very slowly since it can only plant 1 farm at the time. You can build several windmills to get a faster planting rate since building multiple windmills will work, even on 1 farm.
¶ Rate
The Windmill has a base rate of 16 plants per minute but can be increased by various buffs.
- Civic Cheap Labor: Multiplies rate by 150%
- Civic Watermill Civic: Your Windmills adjacent to a River plant 3 times more.
- Trade Good Buff Efficient Gears: Increases the processing quantity by 25%.
- Stragegic Good Buff Sea Shell : Can be placed inside the Windmill for a planting boost! Increases the planting rate by 16 crops per tick. The effect lasts for 15 mins.
- Technology Wind Turbines: Multiplies rate by 125%
